Method:
Use the clay to create your landscape. Form a river down the centre and build the rest of the landscape sloping towards the river.
Add trees and plants around the river and place dolphin figures in the river.
Pour water into the river.
Pour more water into the river to represent the rainy season and see how the surroundings flood.
Use the baster the remove water and represent the dry season.

Dolphin Suncatcher
Objective: Foster creativity and take a closer look at the dolphins.
Materials:
Clear Contact Paper
Tissue Paper (cut in to strips, or small pieces)
Sharpie
Scissors
Dolphin Template
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of contact paper large enough to fit over your template and place it on top of your dolphin template, sticky side up. Secure with tape so it doesn't move around.
2. Start sticking your tissue paper over your template until the whole think is covered.
3. Place a second piece of contact paper sticky side down over your tissue paper. And retrace your template with the sharpie.
4. Cut along the lines of your template and hang in a window.
Jumping Dolphin Craft
Objective: Create movement within artwork.
Materials:
2 Paper Plates.
1 Split Pin
Paint
Dolphin picture
Ocean stickers
Instructions:
Paint the inside of one paper plate to represent the sky. Add things like stars and clouds.
Paint the inside of the second paper plate to represent the ocean. Cut it in half adding waves along the cut line. Add things like fish and other ocean creatures.
Colour and glue your dolphin to the sky paper plate.
Secure the paper plates together with the split pin. The ocean plate should be able to spin freely creating the illusion of a jumping dolphin.
Free Form Dolphin Art
Objective: Focus on developing individual creativity.
Activity: Provide your child with various craft supplies and challenge them to create their dolphin art. There are no rules here besides using dolphins as a prompt. Revisit this often providing different mediums and supplies.
